Dirigible Ego is a rock band from Boston, Massachusetts in the United States. Two of the guys in the band (Pete and Eric) consider ourselves bears. Our straight guys, Doug and Frank, are not so much ‘bears’ as ‘hetero guys with fur’. ;-) We just released our first album, which is called “Entanglement.” If you want to preview the songs from the album, you can visit our download site at http://dirigibleego.bandcamp.com, or iTunes—we have iTunes distribution in the US, Canada, Mexico, the UK and Europe, Japan, New Zealand, and Australia, which we hope covers many of Bear’s Art’s readers.

Working on this piece was very special day for me as an artist. For many years I have admired and wondered at the works of @Hedrus, an artist I have come across on both deviantART and Y! Gallery, two of the online art communities I contribute to.
This was the first collaboration between myself at the said artist.
I have had the pleasure to talk to him over Facebook, and he is a very sweet and understanding guy., and after a little chat, he agreed to send me one of his pieces to I can color it in, in my own style.
My work on this piece involves re-inking his already very clean work in order to work on a larger canvas size and made some minor edits, shaped up the background and finished the coloring.
